This loss is an unmitigated disaster for the Orlando Magic. An absolute embarrassment. But there are two saving graces: If the Magic lose Tuesday’s 7-8 Play-In game in Philadelphia, the Magic would at least host the final East Play-In. And … a first-round matchup against the Pistons would be a more favorable matchup for the Magic than a first-round matchup against the Celtics. That said, the Magic would be a massive underdog against the Pistons also.
