Los Angeles Lakers head coach JJ Redick revealed that Jake LaRavia has a very minor ankle sprain and is day to day ahead of Game 3 against the Rockets.

Los Angeles Lakers forward Jake LaRavia is dealing with a minor injury ahead of the pivotal Game 3 against the Houston Rockets.

Talking to the media on Thursday, Lakers head coach JJ Redick revealed that LaRavia is dealing with a very minor ankle sprain.

“He has a very, very low grade, minor, minor, minor ankle sprain,” JJ Redick said via Dave McMenamin.

LaRavia is considered day-to-day ahead of Game 3 in Houston.

So far, LaRavia hasn’t been much of a factor in this series; after scoring six points in the first game of the series, in the second game, he went scoreless and committed five fouls in 15 minutes of play.

In the regular season, he averaged 8.2 points, 4 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game.

The Lakers currently lead the series 2-0 despite playing without Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves.

Game 3 is scheduled for Friday in Houston.
