“Absolutely, the first two games were unbelievable, great atmosphere and now to have a chance to end the series, I think it’s going to be pretty electric tonight.
After Game 4 in Boston, the Bruins said they were very embarrassed the Sabres ran them out of their own building 6-1. Greenway knows he’s going to see a different Boston team,
“They’re going to throw everything they’ve got at us, they have nothing to lose and I see these guys coming out here and throwing everything and the kitchen sink at us, so we’ve got to be ready for that right from the drop of the puck, weather their storm and what they have coming at us and then try to get to our game and get there as quick as we can.”
Alex Lyon will again be in goal as he’s 2-0 with a 0.89 goals against and .964 save percentage. Jeremy Swayman is 1-3 and is 10-13 in his career in the playoffs. This season he has a 3.50 goals against and .900 save percentage.
Bo Byram and Peyton Krebs lead the NHL in plus/minus at plus-7. Alex Tuch is seventh in scoring with three goals and three assists for six points
This has pretty much been a road series as Buffalo’s Game 1 win is the only home win in the series.
Owen Power is playing in his first Stanley Cup Playoff series and he has an assist in all four games and has paired with Bo Byram to be Buffalo’s strongest pair in the playoffs. Power has played in big games and tournaments, but nothing like the Stanley Cup playoffs. He said,
“Obviously you talk to guys and you hear from their experiences, but I don’t think you could really know what to expect until you get into the games, so really in Game 1 I just went to the rink excited and curious about what it’s going to be like and prepare like a normal game and play a couple of shifts and I was able to get a feel for what it’s like and get into the groove.”
Lindy Ruff said Josh Norris, Jason Zucker and Tyson Kozak are all available to play. Zucker and Kozak both took line rushes with their regular lines and will likely play. Norris skated extra and won’t play. He wouldn’t reveal any details on his injury other than to say that it felt good out their on Tuesday.
