Riot Games released the ‘2026 Season 2: Chaos’ update for its PC MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) game, League of Legends (LoL), today (the 30th).
The new ‘Chaos’ season is part of the unique summer updates LoL introduces annually—following themes like ▲Spirit Blossom, ▲Star Guardian, and ▲Soul Fighter—and is characterized by its use of intense colors to depict the chaotic world of Runeterra.
Starting today, players can explore Vayne’s past as a demon hunter through the Chaos theme. The update features various content, including the ▲Prestige Chaos Shaco (obtainable via Battle Pass), ▲Demonic Curse Vayne, ▲Chaos Annie, and ▲Chaos Kindred. Unique new skins such as ▲Baguette Irelia and ▲Spaghetti à la Vel’Koz will also be released sequentially throughout the season.
Gameplay updates are also included. Top laners will now earn more experience points when participating in team fights, while mid laners will receive a 6% bonus to attack damage and ability power upon completing their position quest, replacing the enhanced recall. Additionally, later in the patch, Riot plans to introduce a ‘team surrender vote’ feature that triggers when the system detects disruptive behavior, such as intentional feeding or selling all items.
