CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – A 19 First Alert Weather Day is in effect this afternoon and evening due to the potential for a few strong to severe storms.
A couple rounds of storms are possible.
One cluster moves through near and along the lakeshore from mid to late afternoon while a second approaches locations south of the Turnpike this evening.
The main storm risks are damaging wind gusts and heavy rain leading to local high water.
Showers linger overnight, though the risk for severe weather drops.
Then, more rain chances are in the forecast for the rest of the week as deep moisture remains in place.
A front will settle into northern Ohio later tomorrow. Rounds of rain and storms will put a big dent in the drought coming up.
Locally heavy rain is possible with any cluster of storms.
