The series, created by and starring Quinta Brunson, continues to follow the dedicated, and often chaotic, teachers at a Philadelphia public school. This year promises fresh faces, new challenges and plenty of the heartfelt humor fans have come to love.

“Abbott Elementary” premieres on Wednesday, Oct. 1 at 8:30 p.m. ET/PT and 7:30 p.m. CT.

New episodes air Wednesdays at the same time.

How to watch ‘Abbott Elementary’

“Abbott Elementary” airs live on ABC.

New episodes will be available to stream the next day on Hulu. Previous seasons are also available on Hulu.

There are 22 episodes this season of “Abbott Elementary.” ABC has already teased the first three episodes of the new season:

  • “Team Building,” out Oct. 1: “The teachers prepare for the upcoming school year with new faces and big changes on the horizon.”
  • “Cheating,” out Oct. 8:“Melissa tries to outsmart her students; Tariq causes chaos in Janine’s class; and a new guidance counselor joins the school.”
  • “Ballgame,” out Oct. 15: “The Abbott crew heads to the ballpark for Teachers’ Appreciation Night at the Philadelphia Phillies game.”
