Week 5 of the 2025 NFL season is upon us and the action will kick off on Thursday night with the San Francisco 49ers visiting the Los Angeles Rams in an NFC West showdown at 8:15 p.m. ET on Prime Video.

The Rams were able to down the red hot Colts in a 27-20 victory at home on Sunday, improving their record to 3-1 on the year. Wide receiver Tutu Atwell had just one catch in the contest and sure as heck made it count in the home victory for L.A.

Below, we’ll go over Atwell’s outlook in fantasy football for Week 5.

Fantasy Football analysis: Rams WR Tutu Atwell

With the game tied at 20 with less than two minutes to go, Atwell got open and broke free for an 88-yard touchdown reception to deliver the go-ahead score for the Rams on Sunday. He ended up being an unexpected hero for L.A. with only one other target in the win and that single touchdown grab vaulted him into the top 1o of WR fantasy performers in standard leagues for the week.

The veteran wideout has been virtually non-existent prior to Sunday’s victory over the Colts, recording just one catch in the three weeks prior. We’ll see if that catch leads to him getting more opportunities moving forward.

Sit. The game-winning touchdown reception was exciting, but I need to see him actually be incorporated into the Rams’ offensive gameplan before I even consider him for a roster spot, let alone a start. If he is able to command more targets on Thursday night, he may have waiver wire appeal for next week.
