Former UFC light heavyweight champion Jan Blachowicz will look to snap his losing skid against a rising contender in December.

Blachowicz (29-11-1 MMA, 12-8-1 UFC) takes on Bogdan Guskov (18-3 MMA, 4-1 UFC) on Dec. 6 at UFC 323 from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Dana White announced Monday.

Blachowicz returned from a 21-month layoff against the streaking Carlos Ulberg in the UFC Fight Night 255 co-main event this past March. He lost by unanimous decision and is now winless in his past three fights. The former champion hasn’t gotten his hand raised since a TKO win over Aleksandar Rakic in May 2022.

Meanwhile, Guskov has been on a roll since dropping his short-notice UFC debut to Volkan Oezdemir in September 2023. The 32-year-old went onto finish his next four fights, most recently a first-round knockout of ranked Nikita Krylov at UFC on ABC 9 in July.

With the addition, the current UFC 323 lineup includes:

  • Champion Merab Dvalishvili vs. Petr Yan – for bantamweight title
  • Champion Alexandre Pantoja vs. Joshua Van – for flyweight title
  • Jan Blachowicz vs. Bogdan Guskov
  • Henry Cejudo vs. Payton Talbott
  • Maycee Barber vs. Karine Silva
  • Mansur Abdul-Malik vs. Antonio Trocoli
