Alabama running back Jam Miller is expected to play on Saturday night vs. Tennessee, head coach Kalen DeBoer said.
Miller left last week’s game vs. Missouri with a concussion and did not return. The senior — who was officially listed as “questionable” on Wednesday, but upgraded to “probable” on Thursday — leads the Crimson Tide in rushing with 267 yards this season, and also has eight receptions.
“We’re expecting him to go today,” DeBoer said. “And he’s obviously a great football player, but he’s an emotional leader for our football team.”

DeBoer also confirmed he will wear his now-trademark black hoodie for Saturday night’s game. The Crimson Tide is 13-2 when the head coach wears what Missouri coach Eli Drinkwitz called the “black hoodie of death” on the sideline and 1-3 when he does not.
“Yeah, there will be one on,” DeBoer said.
Alabama (5-1, 3-0 SEC) hosts Tennessee (5-1, 2-1) at 6:30 p.m. at Bryant-Denny Stadium. The game will air on ABC.
