Following a 21-7 win over the Wisconsin Badgers, Oregon has its second bye week of the season. Oregon is 7-1 overall and 4-1 in Big Ten play. The Ducks are the No. 6-ranked team in the US LBM Coaches Poll.
The Ducks’ second bye week of the year once again comes at an advantageous time, with a big game on the road against the Iowa Hawkeyes next week. After a couple of good wins over Rutgers and Wisconsin in the past weeks, Oregon’s schedule ramps up over the final stretch of the year, with Iowa, Minnesota, USC, and Washington on the docket.
Iowa also has a bye week ahead of the Ducks-Hawkeyes game on Nov. 8. The time for the game has not yet been announced, but it will be decided on Sunday. The Hawkeyes are 6-2, and looking to prove that they belong in the same conversation as other Big Ten powers like Oregon.
ESPN’s Football Power Index (FPI) gives Oregon a 68.8% chance to beat Iowa in Week 10, and the Ducks are favored by 5.5 points, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
