CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – The University of Iowa has asked students to shelter in place Friday afternoon.
The University of Iowa’s emergency alert system put out a message regarding a shooting near campus.
The alerts say there were gunshots near Burlington and Governor, and the suspect fled westbound on foot.
