Grisham hit a grand slam – his third of the season and 29th home run of the year – to highlight the Yankees’ 7-1 victory over the Houston Astros Tuesday night.
But ex-Yankee Cameron Maybin fears general manager Brian Cashman and the team will let him “walk” as a free agent during the offseason.
“Trent Grisham is having a career year, but let me guess the Yankees will let him walk after the season,” Maybin posted on social media. “Just bring him back on another one year deal, why not? Not to mention he’s elite in center. Screw your defensive metrics, I watch ball.
