The Los Angeles Lakers had one of their worst first halves of this season on Saturday against the Los Angeles Clippers. They scored just 39 points while shooting 34.1% from the field and 2-of-19 from 3-point range, and they went into halftime trailing by 15 points versus a Clippers team that came in with a 6-21 record.

Doncic struggled with his shooting, going 4-of-13 from the floor. During the second quarter, he tweaked his leg and was limping noticeably. He remained in the game, but he wasn’t on the floor to start the third quarter.

Per Dave McMenamin of ESPN, Doncic has been ruled out for the rest of the game due to a leg contusion.

The Lakers were already without Austin Reaves, Deandre Ayton, Gabe Vincent and Rui Hachimura for this game, so they will be very hard-pressed to put up enough points to come back and win.

Their next game will be on Tuesday, Dec. 23, versus the Phoenix Suns.
