Fourth seed Brandon Nakashima will face wild card Juncheng Shang in the second round of the Chengdu Open 2025. Nakashima received a first-round bye, while Shang battled past Zizou Bergs in three sets.
Nakashima’s season has been a mix of promise and frustration. The American, who claimed his lone singles title in San Diego back in 2022, has yet to add another.
