I’m of the belief that hot dogs can and should be enjoyed after baseball season, and it looks like Paul Skenes agrees. The Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher appears to have his very own extremely professional-looking hot-dog roller right in his kitchen. How do I know this? His girlfriend, influencer Livvy Dunne, shared a TikTok video showing off his appliance. It probably comes in handy when those glizzy cravings hit outside of the stadium.
The clips shows Skenes busy attending to his dogs while the buns warm above them. “The sound that plays in my head when my bf brings out the hot dog roller for dinner,” Dunne wrote on the clip, referring to the dramatic music the video was set to the tune of. She added that “he takes his craft very seriously” in the caption. As he should!
Although Skenes is the professional baseball player in the relationship, Dunne apparently loves the great American pastime, too. In July, she revealed a New York City co-op board rejected her $1.6 million bid to buy Babe Ruth’s former apartment on 88th Street, according to NBC News. What a shame — the hot-dog roller would’ve been the perfect vehicle to channel Ruth’s spirit from beyond the grave.
While Dunne hasn’t added a shoppable link to her profile just yet, you can purchase your own roller at Walmart for $124.99. Don’t mind if I do.
